The brief

The client had been using the same email for many years and wanted an up-to-date, refreshed design.

Research

I collaborated with the client on research and analytics findings. Looking at their previous email’s click-through rates, I noted to improve the size of the buttons and footer call to actions as these were regularly clicked.

Design guidelines

I created a design using the client’s new brand colours and styling including:

  • A large button gif at the top that changes between white and bronze, capturing the users attention to click it.
  • Different colours relating to each sector, for example green and bronze are for golf.
  • Text with images in the footer link to the popular related webpages to create a bigger area to click.

Conclusion

The new email design is desktop and mobile responsive and works well across all areas of the client’s business.
